Resumen
The main objective of this research is the development of the process of design and elaboration of a strategic plan that involves characteristics and strategies aimed at Digital Transformation, integrating the strategies coming from the Institutional Strategic Plan and the Strategic Information System Plan with competitive use of Information Technology, developed in parallel. The monograph is structured as follows: Chapter 1 - Institutional Strategic Planning, is divided into theoretical aspects where the fundamentals and conceptual models of strategic planning with relevance for the entire document are presented (numerals 1.1. And 1.2.); and the selection and development of the institutional strategic planning process for the organization under study (numeral 1.3.) based mainly on the PE model of Fred R. David (2003). Chapter 2 - Strategic Planning of Information Systems and Information Technology (PE-SITI), as well as the first chapter has a section for fundamentals and conceptual models of PE-SITI (numerals 2.1. And 2.2.); in a second instance, the contextualization and main concepts of PE-SITI in relation to the Digital Transformation (TD) (numeral 2.3.) from which information is extracted for a third party, which establishes the criteria and the analysis for the validation of the planning process to be executed, subsequently, in the fourth part (paragraph 2.4.). The fourth part constitutes the development of the PE-SITI process in parallel with the PEI, supported by the model proposed by Andreu, Ricart & Valor (1993) and aspects of the TD (paragraph 2.5.). And, ending with a fifth, with the opening and exhibition of the construction of the technological matrix to join it in future as the outcome of the project (numeral 2.6.).
