Abstract

The present project talks about the world problem regarding the shortage of energy resources based on fossil fuels and the damages that these fuels generate to the planet's environment, for this reason a responsible conscience must be created that generates an environment-friendly culture. environment, said the above, this work aims to quantify the generation of renewable energy from the biomass contained in agricultural residues, emphasizing the Colombian-Brazilian Amazon; It should also be mentioned that this area is very rich in biodiversity and that it is one of the most valuable ecological reserves on the planet. Given that these wastes will be used to transform them into clean energy, there will be a decrease in the practice of dumping those wastes to one of the largest freshwater providers in the world.
