Abstract

The image contains a news item about the report made after the visit of the undersigned Salinas' Chief Administrator to the Official Warehouse in Bogota, in this report certain situations are stipulated as: the difficulty in obtaining premises for the sale of products in Carrera 13, Plaza de Nariño and the small square of the church of San José, a back room with Carrera 7, immediately next to the small square of Las Nieves, a store on Calle 15 and a stall in the Market Square between two columns. It is also stipulated that there have been difficulties for the commercialization of products since the public does not know the places and conditions of sale and therefore the defined sales goal has not been achieved, however it is mentioned that lately sales have been activated and it is expected that within a month they will increase to 2,000, this being the optimal amount for domestic consumption and to cover the expenses resulting from the sales. Finally, certain inconveniences for the commercialization and sale of salt are stipulated and provisions are made to solve them. News published in the Official Gazette, No.11-558, November 1901.
