In this edition of Crew, participants Juan Diego, Mario Alejandro, Laura, Ana María, and Nicolás celebrate World Radio Day. The young broadcasters share their enthusiasm for radio, highlighting that it allows them to learn, express themselves, and voice their opinions. Historian Jerónimo Carranza guides them through the history of radio, from the scientific advancements of electromagnetic waves in the 19th century to the first broadcasts in Massachusetts in 1906 and the emergence of the first radio stations, including HJN in Colombia in 1929. Journalist Nora Parra shares her vast experience in Colombian radio journalism, offering valuable advice to young people and emphasizing the importance of radio as a means of communication for peace and freedom of expression. Finally, Samuel Salazar reports on Colorín Colorradio, a children's radio station that is now a digital platform.
