Implementación de un proceso estandarizado de mantenimiento preventivo para un banco de prueba dinámica de vehículos

Abstract

This document presents the design and implementation of a standardized preventive maintenance procedure for the dynamic vehicle test stand (DVT) at an automotive manufacturing plant. Based on an analysis of the current equipment condition and an evaluation of previously used procedures, deficiencies affecting system reliability and availability were identified. Structured improvements, aligned with Global Manufacturing System (GMS) principles, were proposed, including updating spreadsheets, standardizing critical tasks, and training technical personnel. Implementation of the new procedure eliminated unscheduled downtime, increased equipment availability to 100%, and established a replicable technical baseline in other maintenance areas, contributing to operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
