| dc.description.abstract | The image contains a news item about the "Resolution on the Press" issued by the Ministry of Government of Colombia on May 8, 1895. This resolution repeals a previous provision that required a prior pass to make publications, reestablishing freedom of the press under the restrictions existing before January 1895. However, during the state of siege, the Government will exercise censorship and sanction subversive or inconvenient writings.
