La argumentación en la conquista y comienzos de la colonia: una forma de construcción del sujeto del discurso historiográfico

Este artículo explora diversos textos, escritos durante la época de la Conquista y comienzos de la etapa colonial en América, con el objeto de proponer la argumentación como forma discursiva que permite construir el sujeto historiográfico en esta época y romper con la tradición historiográfica medieval. Con base en el análisis de la intencionalidad del texto, inserto en un acto de habla, se considera el problema de la tipología textual y las diversas estrategias discursivas empleadas por los autores para configurar los sentidos sobre una nueva realidad. Tales estrategias ilustran no sólo la fuerza del lenguaje, en tanto evidencian una "escritura que conquista", sino también una de las formas de legitimación del proceso de conquista y colonización en América.
Thisarticle explores diverse texts written during the time of the conquest and the beginning of the colonial era in the Americas.
