Abstract

The work carried out is developed in MECTEC Mecanizados Técnicos S. A. S., a company that, although it has a long history and wide recognition in the market, to date, maintains verbal instruction and informality in the development of its productive activities, unleashing the possibility of losses in costs and time and reducing its competitive capabilities in the market. Due to the economic difficulties that the country is going through in the metalworking sector, it is appropriate to provide a point of support for the company, through a contextualization, diagnosis and implementation of tools and proposals that allow it to adjust its strategic platform, processes and other control and standardization factors that contribute to continuous improvement and excellent performance in the development of its activities. Then, the ISO 9001: 2015 Standard and its applicability become relevant, since they require documentation or prior characterization in projection of a management by processes in a systematic way, the application of the necessary legal frameworks in order to guarantee the satisfaction of the interested parties. and the implementation of internationally accepted and recognized practices. Quality is a tool to face competition, thus it is necessary in the micro-business framework, in expectation of controlling physical and human resources, in addition to allowing obtaining the benefits that control and management entail, taking into account that With the new ISO 9001: 2015, companies will have to carry out a risk analysis and understand the context in which they can occur.
