Resumen
The image contains news about Circular Number 27 issued by the Government of the State of Cundinamarca on October 5, 1860. This circular, addressed to the mayors of the districts of the state, emphasizes the importance of the response to a previous directive, Circular Number 14, requesting the distribution of teaching hours in schools in accordance with articles 30 and 32 of the Public Instruction Code. The Council of Public Instruction highlights that only two mayors have responded to this request, and in a second circular published on March 27, crucial reports were also requested on points related to public instruction, of which few mayors have responded. The Council attributes this lack of response to the recent turbulence in public order, but now that peace and order has been restored, immediate compliance with these guidelines is expected. The communication closes with a warning that a fine of ten pesos will be imposed on those who do not comply with the Council's requests. News published in Gaceta de Cundinamarca. October 12, 1860.
