Abstract

The purpose of this project is to make use of ISO / IEC 27004, which is a guide for the development and use of metrics and measurement techniques applicable to determine the effectiveness of an ISMS and the controls or groups of controls implemented according to ISO / IEC 27002, in the Information Security Management Systems of the Government Entities of Colombia, with the objective of elaborating a measurement model for the ISMS of Government Entities that made use of the Government's Online Strategy . The Colombian Government, through the Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies (MINTIC), has at the disposal of the Public Entities and third parties that provide services to them, a model to facilitate the development and implementation of security policies, based on ISO / IEC international standards.
