Abstract

In this work, the formulation of the proposal for the creation of the Department of Environmental Management according to Decree 1299 of 2008, is developed, proposing for industrial companies, applied in this case to the Grupo Empresarial Nexos whose activity is based on the sale and rental of Audiovisual equipment and sound for different events. The Environmental Management Department allows the negative environmental impacts caused by the organization's operational processes to be managed in an appropriate manner, allowing the company to obtain detailed information about the company's situation through an initial diagnosis, obtaining data to formulate and develop an environmental policy and plan Management. This allows minimizing, controlling waste and the rational use of natural resources, among other strategies.
