Resumen
In this episode, the importance of coexistence and civic culture in the Department of Putumayo is discussed, with the participation of Gabriel Marín Cuéllar, cultural manager and president of the Departmental Council of Culture. Gabriel highlights that coexistence is based on the relationship between individuals and communities, and underlines the need for coexistence policies that guarantee positive and proactive interactions. Gabriel Marín Cuéllar mentions several challenges to coexistence in Putumayo, such as vehicular traffic and noise, and criticizes the lack of compliance with traffic and coexistence regulations. He points out that the lack of civic culture and respect for the rules generate tensions and conflicts. In addition, he emphasizes the importance of education from home and the responsibility of local authorities to promote awareness campaigns and apply punitive measures when necessary. The program also addresses xenophobia and how it affects coexistence in other parts of the world, highlighting that Colombia, and in particular Putumayo, is a multicultural and tolerant region. Gabriel Marín Cuéllar concludes that in order to achieve positive coexistence, it is essential that all citizens get involved and develop values such as tolerance, respect and responsibility. The media play a crucial role in the dissemination of these values and in promoting a culture of coexistence.
