Resumen
The effects of contaminants, such as leachate, on human health have created the need for detection systems. Uncontrolled leachate can contaminate soil and surface water and groundwater, to the air with bad odors and dispersion of bacteria, to the soil, which is inert and to the social environment due to the diseases caused by the accumulation of toxic substances. This pollutant process is often found sev-eral times in the Doña Juana landfill (Bogotá-Colombia), the quantities of particles found in the leach-ate, zinc (19%), cyanide (15%), chromium (14%), barium (12%), mercury (11%) and lead (10%) are thrown to the Tunjuelo River and later to the Bogota River, according to Uaesp and CAR [1]. This pro-ject is a simulation in Comsol Multiphysics of the detection of lead (Pb) in water, through the measure-ments of level curves and voltage spectrum. It consists of a construction of two electrodes submerged in water inside a vessel, which supports the incorporation of the pollutant proposed by William Nicholson [2]
