Abstract

Ninth District Disability Forum: Social Mobilization for Change towards Equity. The radio program focuses on the promotion of the Ninth District Disability Forum, an event designed to encourage the participation and social mobilization of people with disabilities in Bogotá. The objectives of the forum, its importance for inclusion and equity, are discussed, and the main moments and activities of the event are detailed. Forum Objectives: Make social mobilization visible as a tool to recognize the rights of people with disabilities. Promote a scenario of dialogue of knowledge and knowledge management. Claim and restore the rights of the disabled population. Key Forum Activities: Conferences: On experiences of social mobilization in Latin America and in Bogotá. Discussions: About the PESMA (Strategic Sectoral Environment Plan) and the participation of different population groups. March: Social mobilization to make the community's demands visible.
