| dc.description | La imagen contiene una noticia acerca de la Circular N°149 del 22 de diciembre de 1842, emitida por la Secretaría de Estado en el Despacho de Hacienda de la República de la Nueva Granada. Esta circular aborda la problemática de la circulación de pesos falsos de China del año 1821. En respuesta, se ordena a las oficinas de recaudación de cada provincia examinar cuidadosamente las monedas recibidas; las falsas deben ser inutilizadas públicamente, mientras que las legítimas deben ser aceptadas sin devolución para cambio. Se subraya la necesidad de evitar calificaciones arbitrarias y se instruye a los empleados a actuar con diligencia para garantizar la circulación de moneda genuina y la eliminación de la falsificada. This circular addresses the problem of the circulation of counterfeit pesos from China from the year 1821.
