Resumen
Literature can build and create countless images and worlds that take into account, in many cases, the context in which the reader is immersed. In this sense, it is not surprising that the relationship between the literary text and social context is a real work item by different authors. This work aims to be aimed at the horizon of meaning. Taking the Angosta novel written by Hector Abad Faciolince (2003) as the object of this study, we explored the representations and symbols that the author uses to show everyday life in the city. Its development is the result of the innovation cycle; teaching program and research project of the Bachelor in Basic Education with emphasis in Social Sciences University Francisco José de Caldas, work for three semesters in the District Educational Institution San Andres new high, grades 901 902 of the day and evening in the area of Spanish language and literature, in 2013.
