Aplicación de métodos de evaluación ergonómica con el fin de actualizar la valoración del riesgo ergonómico al que se ven expuestos los trabajadores de la Empresa Rocas y Minerales S.A.S.

Abstract

Rocas and Minerales S.A.S. has implemented a health and safety management system at work, with which it seeks the protection of life, physical integrity, health and the improvement of the quality of life of its workers and collaborators. In the process of hazard identification and occupational risk assessment, it has defined that one of its main risks is ergonomics. Therefore, it is necessary to propose intervention measures that minimize the risk and prevent the increase in absenteeism related to occupational musculoskeletal conditions. With the present work we seek to establish intervention measures to minimize the Ergonomic Risk, for this an Ergonomic Evaluation Method will be applied to identify the inadequate positions taken by the workers in the development of their daily activities. Likewise, a Job Placement Analysis will be carried out, based on the NTC 5831 (ergonomic requirements for office work with VDTs), in order to propose a Workplace Design, which adapts to the majority of the working population of rocks and minerals.
