Propuesta de diseño de un centro de acopio para residuos sólidos para la localidad de Usme en Bogotá

Abstract

The purpose of this work is to present a proposal for the design of a collection center in the town of Usme, thus responding to the need for the inadequate final disposal of solid waste, which generates critical points of contamination. A descriptive approach is proposed in the characterization of the town of Usme and the engineering of the design application as a project. The proposed design includes specific areas for the separation and preparation for the subsequent final disposal of solid waste. It is expected that this collection center will not only improve waste management in Usme, but also serve as a replicable model for other locations in Bogotá. This degree work has a methodological approach of technological application, since based on the knowledge of environmental engineering, a design of a solid waste collection center will be given, within an exploratory nature it will seek to diagnose critical points in the town. of Usme regarding the management of solid waste; Based on the above, it is expected to expand this methodology with a descriptive approach, which consists of the design of the collection center for the correct management of solid waste in the town and finally, with a qualitative methodological approach, the milestones of the project will be carried out that will allow demonstrate compliance with the project requirements from the observation and management of current information.
