Abstract

LOOK FUZZY is my creative and practical reflection on painting. How? in my proposal plastic acrylic on canvas, seeking to develop a series of five paintings (of varying dimensions), based on my reflection and creative exercise, interpreting images of faces the pictorial language; where color, stain, gesture, rhythm, movement of brushstrokes and form become relevant ... Before my pictorial procedure involved essentially a process of observation to get directly to my choice of images of faces, from criteria of pictorial inquiry; contrasts of light (mainly), form and shape of the face, gesture and attitude, feeling that gives me his gaze, framing and composition ... and it is these images of faces that encounter after an intense search which subsequently print in black and white ( for the contrasts of chiaroscuro that both interest me) as a reference and critical to building my pictorial image base.
