Abstract

The image contains news about circular number 5, where the general police law demanded by all corporations and public officials was finally issued last year; but due to a fatality it has been forgotten as soon as it was published and almost all the police chiefs of this province neglect or fail to fully fulfill the duties that the law imposes on them. So in general all branches of police are today in the same abandonment as they were before this beneficial provision was sanctioned. The undersigned that he wishes to restore legal order to the extent possible, provides: 1. That you read carefully and attentively the law of May 18 of last year. 2nd. That you immediately open the book referred to in article 30 thereof and that at the end of each month an extract of the resolutions that had been printed in it in the previous 30 days be sent to this governorate.
