Estudio morfométrico de la Quebrada Gavilán afluente al Rio Negro en el Municipio de Pacho Cundinamarca

Abstract

A series of aspects of the drainage networks has been used in order to calibrate them in their usefulness to be applied in the analysis of the water dynamics of the basin of the GAVILAN stream; Therefore, it has been used the analysis of typologies of networks characteristic of the main channels and characteristics of the river beds, being necessary to clarify the definitions of channel and main stream. Also studying and classifying the hydrographic basin of the NEGRO river of Cundinamarca to determine its behavior and characteristics taking into account the geography, topography, climate and the physical parameters of each basin (area and perimeter) in the region and the sector. What this proposal proposes to us is to identify indexes and coefficients determined from the beginning in the theoretical part depending on the topography, in order to classify and characterize the morphology of the basin of the GAVILAN creek.
