Resumen
A series of aspects of the drainage networks has been used in order to calibrate them in their usefulness to be applied in the analysis of the water dynamics of the basin of the GAVILAN stream; Therefore, it has been used the analysis of typologies of networks characteristic of the main channels and characteristics of the river beds, being necessary to clarify the definitions of channel and main stream. Also studying and classifying the hydrographic basin of the NEGRO river of Cundinamarca to determine its behavior and characteristics taking into account the geography, topography, climate and the physical parameters of each basin (area and perimeter) in the region and the sector.
What this proposal proposes to us is to identify indexes and coefficients determined from the beginning in the theoretical part depending on the topography, in order to classify and characterize the morphology of the basin of the GAVILAN creek.

Se ha utilizado una serie de aspectos de las redes de drenaje con objeto de calibrarlos en su utilidad para ser aplicados en el análisis de la dinámica hídrica de la cuenca de la quebrada GAVILAN; por lo tanto se ha hecho uso del análisis de tipologías de redes características de los cauces principales y características de los lechos fluviales, siendo necesario aclarar las definiciones de cauce y corriente principal. Estudiando y clasificando también la hoya hidrográfica del rio NEGRO de Cundinamarca para así determinar sus comportamientos y características teniendo en cuenta la geografía, topografía, clima y los parámetros físicos de cada cuenca (área y perímetro) en la región y el sector.
Lo que nos plantea esta propuesta es identificar índices y coeficientes determinados desde un principio en la parte teórica dependiendo de la topografía, con el fin de clasificar y caracterizar la morfología de la cuenca de la quebrada GAVILAN.
