The indicators of accidentality of Transit in some corridors of the City of Bogotá D.C, have been increased by different circumstances, a weighing of the campaigns of mitigation and the prevention that realize the authorities in different fronts. The corridor of street 3 between careers 56 and 38, in the last years (2015 and 2016) according to the databases of the mobility secretariat, according to the accident reports, has had 170 traffic accidents, which as a consequence They have caused the deaths of two people and injuries to other 64. Within the corridor there are critical areas with high accident rates such as the north-western zone of roundabout on the 3rd Street with career 50, where approximately 47% of the accidents are concentrated. Corridor, while there are other risk points such as the return of the street 3 with career 39B, where the characteristics of the traffic operation, the state of the infrastructure, signage and urbanism, suggest immediate interventions; although not report accidents. The present project shows the methodological development, results and recommendations obtained with the execution of the Road Safety Audit in the corridor of street 3 between careers 56 and 38; by characterizing the area of influence by the land uses, the analysis of the accident reported on the corridor and the critical area, technically check the critical area and the risk zone, where it is evident that in the critical area the highest level Risk and immediate intervention in signaling and transit; While for the risk zone, the most critical issue is infrastructure, signaling and transit. The most critical findings are presented as a form of tokens such as pavement status, lack of horizontal demarcation, surface drainage status and the behavior of some road users; For which there is also a series of recommendations for mitigation and risk reduction, a short, medium and long term, such as the rehabilitation of the infrastructure and the implementation of the horizontal demarcation, product of the analysis of the results.
