Análisis Beneficio–Costo de la Adquisición de una Flota de Transporte Encargada de la Operación Logística entre Barranquilla y Bogotá para la Compañía Corpacero Sas

Abstract

The present project is formulated from a previous analysis of logistics operations in terrestrial distribution company Corpacero between Barranquilla and Bogota. It is realized to evaluate, using benefit-cost analysis, the convenience of the acquisition of an own transport fleet. The above mentioned analysis realizes from the identification of quantitative and qualitative variables own of the transport system that it uses the company currently, such as: the quality of the service given by companies with which the service is contracted, the response times in the ubication of these vehicles, safety during transportation of the product as well as the costs and backups in hiring this service to third parties, among others. Depth analysis of the variables mentioned above and previous compiling of information, analysis of the environmental and market conditions, will be determined demand for transport services that would be served by the new vehicle fleet and will become an analysis of the provision of services that which they are currently outsourced; then the technical aspects of the project will be developed in terms of services provision capacity of the new fleet and requirements analysis and inputs for the service. After analyzing the economic and financial aspects associated with the project, ending with benefit /cost evaluation.
