Resumen
The image contains news about Agreement Number 24 of 1884, which establishes the creation of two fairs in the city. This agreement arises from the consideration of the difficulties in the communication routes that keep consumers and producers away from the country, as well as the incipient state of the national industry that forces producers to also be transporters and sellers of their products. . In this context, two annual fairs are established, with the objective of bringing together producers and consumers from Cundinamarca and neighboring states to regularize commercial transactions and facilitate credit transactions. A board of merchants and farmers is appointed to organize these fairs, with authorization to request voluntary contributions, rent stalls in public places, promote night shows, organize industrial exhibitions, among other activities. News published in the Municipal Registry. November 1, 1884.
