Resumen
Considering earth´s surface monitoring activities have a high cost due to the methodology and instrumentation they require to be carried out, it’s necessary search for alternatives to generate associated products (in this case digital elevation models or DEM) using specialized techniques like radar interferometry (InSAR). In this project satellite data provided by the European Space Agency (ESA) through its Copernicus program and its Sentinel-1 system were used to obtain a DEM from the urban area of Bogota, part of the Sabana and nearby municipalities. We used ESA's SNAP software, a tool used to validate and analyze coherence and interferometric phase values of several pairs of images using the proposed methodology. In addition to obtaining the DEM, a comparative analysis was performed between the obtained model and a reference DEM (SRTM); for this purpose, analyzes (raster, statistics, GNSS stations, among others) were executed that allowed to know the scope and possible uses of the generated model compared to the SRTM in its resolution and precision, considering that it is a cartographic product obtained at From a satellite platform.
