Del llano llano: obra para cuatro llanero que toma como insumo de creación el joropo colombo venezolano

Abstract

The present paper generated a piece for Cuatro llanero, which was configured with elements of the colombo venezuelan Joropo and sought to obtain sound results different from those usually obtained in the common practice of this popular music. Inquiries were made on the historical cultural context of llanera music and the structural elements that guarantee the particular aesthetics of the colombo venezuelan Joropo. With the above, a knowledge base was generated on this popular music, which allowed deciding on the taking and omission of different materials and treatments to the same, present in said music; in pursuit of new sound results. It offers a detailed exposition of the compositional process, the different elements extracted from the colombo venezuelan Joropo and the treatments given to them in the work. Finally, reflections on the final result are presented.
