Abstract

From this paper it is intended to present some necessary tools, which have been established in a specific order so that, in the simplest possible way and through a step-by-step process, these tools can be used when making a musical transcription for a tropical orchestra format. In addition, the possibility of transforming this initial musical transcription will be provided by adding, replacing or changing various musical elements so that the final result corresponds to the preferences of the musician making the arrangement or the person who requested it. This paper is directed mainly to those musicians, both academic and non-academic, who work with tropical music formats and who wish to undertake or continue advancing in the task of making quality musical arrangements. Unfortunately, at present there are no documents that can provide parameters to achieve this goal in an agile, easy and effective way.
