Resumen
For many indigenous communities in Colombia, the experience of the territory has been a limited experience, interrupted by factors such as colonization, land occupation, armed conflict, drug trafficking and extractive economy; factors involved in the deterritorialization process historically faced by indigenous communities and peoples. Such is the case of the Embera Katío communities of the Quebrada Cañaveral reservation in the south of Córdoba, who, in the midst of this panorama, struggle to stay together and recover the territory. Against this background, the purpose of this research is to identify the elements of community experience, which have allowed this indigenous population to continue together and maintain the struggle for the recovery of the territory, which they have had to forcibly abandon. Such elements would allow strengthening the actions of integral reparation for these communities, as a duty of the Colombian State, for the damages that the armed conflict has caused them.
