Patologias de las maderas mas comercializadas en la ciudad de Bogotà

Abstract

In Colombia there are few records of catalogs or brochures that identify the different pathologies in the useful timber for rehabilitation, reconstruction and / or build wooden structural elements, so there is a need to develop a technical guide that has tree species most used in the savannah of Bogotá as structural elements, their physical and mechanical properties, uses thereof, pathogens, diseases and possible causes and methods of rehabilitation of timber structures. The technical guide will be a very important tool in the construction of wood as it will enable engineers, architects, technicians and all those who are in the field of restoration, reconstruction and construction of buildings or wooden structures, not only to identify pathologies in the tree species but also help find the best solutions to initiate patient rehabilitation actions and facilitate the selection of the most suitable species according to the specifications of the work. In addition to the technical guide actual samples of some of the wood species studied (xiloteca) accompanied by more relevant and important information described in this guide is presented. These samples remain as reference material in the University Francisco José de Caldas students to study
