Resumen
Due to the pandemic caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, many schools were forced to implement a virtual education model to guarantee the educational processes of the student community, however, these schools didn’t have the knowledge or computer infrastructure to make the transition to an educational model supported by ICT. For this reason, the need arises to design a technological solution whose objective will be minimizing the problem presented by the schools. This paper describes the design and implementation process of a Cloud service model through the use and administration of IT resources in schools to support ICT-mediated training processes, communication and administrative management. The research that has been developed is applied and qualitative. This was carried out with a sample of 370 students in a Bogota's school. The survey was used as the main technique and the questionary name was: The Impact of ICT in schools during the Pandemic. The objective of applying this survey was to know all the different problems that students have when they use technological tools in the educational processes. Finally, after implementing the proposed model, it's possible to identify an improvement in the education processes mediated by ICT for the selected institution, with which it is induced that the proposed model is viable to carry out its implementation in schools who’s the goal is a progressive transition towards ICT mediated education.
