Resumen
"Searching for what was never lost" is an autobiographical project that was born from the state of bewilderment and social isolation experienced during the pandemic caused by the Covid-19 virus, thus counting on time to internalize my experiences and develop a re-drawing of myself personality. This project was developed as a cathartic exercise and self-recognition, through the analysis of the manifestations of my body in space, its unconscious movements that characterize its particularities and that are generated from concrete experiences. A journey through my experiences and emotions represented in objects and my own characterizations. What is presented here gives value to the exercise of remembering and returning to what was lived. Beyond telling my own story, the paths that cross and the processes that shape the construction of being are resignified. You are not a clean slate, or an exclusive present without a past and traces. It carries with it a loaded baggage that is projected from time to time in our mind, which takes us out of this present and makes us experience for short moments what has already been lived. We go back to those other versions of ourselves, we look at the changes head on and we realize the incessant movement of our own existence Through the use of digital tools, I record everyday moments, I construct graphic stories that reflect daily experiences of my body's relationship with different spaces and moments in an exercise of constant contemplation that generates an encounter with the “I” that is always present, but usually lost or ignored by the convulsed routine. The plastic proposal consists of a video-installation that apologizes to the trip and the internalization of personal experiences.
