Apoyo en la elaboración de informes técnicos sobre el muestreo hidrogeoquímico en la mina San Antonio, Boyacá

Abstract

This internship report details the support provided in preparing technical reports on hydrogeochemical sampling at the San Antonio Mine, located in the municipalities of Duitama and Santa Rosa de Viterbo, Boyacá. During the process, water quality analysis, regulatory review, and processing of physicochemical data were conducted to assess the impact of mining activity on surface and groundwater resources. Additionally, the intern participated in drafting the technical report, integrating results, maps, and comparisons with current environmental legislation. This work facilitated an understanding of the area's hydrogeochemical dynamics, identified points with significant variations in parameters such as sulfates, chlorides, iron, and manganese, and proposed recommendations aimed at strengthening environmental management for both the community and the company.
