| dc.description | It is often claimed that the city is a creation of men. However, it opened the question-at least in a figurative sense-if it would not be otherwise. The city may be the true inventor, the builder, the creator of human beings. It is very difficult to imagine, at least in our days, the existence of a person completely deprived of a relationship with the city. Even in the form of rejection and estrangement, even from repugnance or the search for sociability alternatives - ways of relating to the "human scale" - the city appears as the greatest political form in history. | en-US |

Sin embargo,abría preguntarse —cuando menos en un sentido figurado— si no sería lo contrario.La ciudad tal vez sea la verdadera inventora, la constructora, la creadora de los seres humanos. Es muy difícil imaginar, cuando menos en nuestros días, la existencia de una persona despojada por completo de una relación con la ciudad.
