| dc.description | Este artículo apunta al papel formativo de la literatura en torno a los valores; con ese fin, toma distancia de las maneras tradicionales como se ha enseñado la literatura, insiste en el trabajo sobre el sentido, en la naturaleza simbólica e icónica de la literatura, y en el cultivo de tres tipos de valores principales: cognitivos, éticos y estéticos, con base en el desarrollo de lo analógico. A partir de allí, se propone que la literatura tiene una gran capacidad para subvertir los excesos lógicos del sistema educativo, lo que se justifica gracias al poder educativo del arte. | es-ES |
| dc.description | This article focuses on the role that literature plays in fostering values. With this aim in mind, it distances from the traditional ways in which literature has been taught,and insists on working the sense, the symbolic and iconic nature of literature and in constructing three types of human values: cognitive, ethical and aesthetic. This is achieved by focusing on the development of the analogical component of the sense. The article concludes by claiming that literature has a great aptitude to subvert the logical excesses of the educational system; this justifies the power that art has for educational purposes. | en-US |
