Resumen
The present sustainable housing design proposal is focused on the Community Council of the Black Community of Juanchaco, belonging to the Municipality of Buenaventura, Valle del Cauca. Initially, relevant information was collected, and the identification and characterization of the area were carried out, taking into account biotic, physical, and socioeconomic aspects. Subsequently, design parameters were established for a house that adapts to the environmental and social conditions of an average family in Juanchaco, including appropriate technologies for the study area. With the design agreed upon with the family owning the lot, the environmental sustainability, technical viability, financial feasibility, and social acceptability in the community were evaluated. In this last stage, specific relevant aspects of the area were considered, such as construction materials, transportation of elements, labor, design adapted to local family dynamics, and technologies aimed at reducing environmental impact.
