Resumen
In this edition of the Voices and Regions program, the host reflects on the importance of gratitude toward God and the hope that women must carry as messengers of peace and love. She emphasizes how divine presence guides their path, giving them strength and purpose in life.
Additionally, she addresses the alarming issue of violence against women, highlighting that many victims do not report their aggressors due to fear, economic dependence, or lack of support. The host stresses the need to break the silence and strengthen support networks to ensure that no woman suffers in impunity. She also discusses the painful reality of women kidnapped by guerrilla groups in Colombia, who have endured years of suffering, abuse, and deprivation of freedom. Many of these women have been victims of exploitation and subjugation in armed conflicts, leaving deep scars in the country’s history.
Through this message, the program calls for the recognition of every woman's value and dignity, promoting their right to happiness, freedom, and a life free from violence. It underscores the importance of reporting these crimes, preserving the memory of victims, and seeking justice as essential tools to eradicate violence and build a more just and equal society.
