| dc.description | En este programa, se aborda la diferencia entre el VIH y el SIDA, explicando que el VIH (Virus de la Inmunodeficiencia Humana) es el virus que puede llevar al desarrollo del SIDA (Síndrome de Inmunodeficiencia Adquirida) si no se trata a tiempo. Se detalla cómo se transmite el virus, principalmente a través de relaciones sexuales sin protección, el uso compartido de agujas contaminadas y la transmisión de madre a hijo durante el embarazo, el parto o la lactancia. Además, se explican los riesgos asociados a la enfermedad, la importancia del diagnóstico temprano y los tratamientos disponibles para que las personas con VIH puedan llevar una vida saludable sin desarrollar SIDA. Se enfatiza la necesidad de campañas de educación y prevención para reducir la estigmatización de las personas que viven con VIH y para fomentar el uso de métodos de protección como el preservativo.
