Abstract

This research covers the review of tests to evaluate the phenomenon of rutting in asphalt mixtures, in chapter two of this document the theoretical framework is exposed, where the reader can know the conceptual foundations related to asphalt mixtures, the phenomenon of rutting and the main characteristics that comprise it. The third chapter presents the methodology carried out to achieve the objectives proposed in this study. In the fourth chapter the state of knowledge is established, where the instruments used in each test, the preparation of the samples, the development of the tests and the advantages and disadvantages that they present are specified. The conclusions and recommendations are presented in the fifth and sixth chapter, these will serve as support in case it is required to evaluate this phenomenon in the future. Lastly, the list of referenced literature provides greater clarity on the texts consulted for the review.
