Resumen
Solanum In Colombia, agricultural practices are constituted as one of the main economic activities that contribute to internal development and food security, on which the majority of producing families in the country depend, being the Creole potato “Solanum tuberosum vf. Phureja” the fourth crop with the highest consumption in the world, and raw material of interest in this work. Therefore, the research carried out in the BIOMOLC research group with the support of the International Atomic Energy Agency IAEA, aims to identify the CDPK7 genes present in tuberization and EIN2 present in the ethylene route involved in the dormancy period. In this study, DNA extraction and quantification of leaf and tuber samples was performed; selecting 5 samples from 121 families of Solanum tuberosum vf, Phureja in a crop irradiated with cobalt 60 for their number of tubers and weight, to which conventional PCR and RT-PCR were performed, to determine the presence of the proposed genes and subsequently visualize them by agarose gel electrophoresis and analyze the relative and absolute gene expression of the CDPK7 gene in 100 ng / µL of sample respectively, to elucidate an adequate signaling pathway that involves the two genes and the interaction between them. Finally, the analysis carried out shows the presence of the EIN2 and CDPK7 genes, the latter presenting low levels of expression because the plant was not subjected.
