Resumen
The present work of degree had as objective to elaborate a useful pedagogical tool for the recognition in field of native species and its uses. The research interest arose from the ethnographic observation carried out at the biodiversity nodes Usme, Sumapaz and surrounding areas, within the framework of the Biodiversity Nodes Project of the Scientific Sub-Directorate of the Botanical Garden José Celestino Mutis (JBJCM), of the city of Bogotá, taking as a basis the traditional knowledge of the population residing near the nodes, on species of native flora used on a regular basis and the determination of their potential in medicinal, agricultural and gastronomic aspects, among others. Data were obtained through social cartography, semi-structured interviews and bibliographic research; 55 interviews and taxonomic classification of the native species were carried out. Once the information was collected, the information was organized and its importance was determined using the Index of Use Value (IVU) and the Level of Significant Use Trámil (UST). 63 species were reported, grouped in 51 genera and 33 families, of which the most mentioned were Asteraceae and Solanaceae; as to UST, there are 24 species with a value greater than or equal to 20% and IVUs with high values. Based on these results, a pedagogical tool was built with guide contents that support the recognition in field of native plant biodiversity and its uses in the area, taking into account social aspects of the population.
