Apoyo al plan de mejora de la gestión ambiental en la empresa Schneider Electric De Colombia S.A.S. (sedes Funza, Innova y Dexson y las áreas de proyectos y servicios)

Abstract

Schneider Electric de Colombia S.A.S. is dedicated to the energy and infrastructure sector, in the Dexson and Funza plants, the Innova building, and the Projects and Services areas. The HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) support area is located there; its objective is to ensure compliance with regulations and guarantee the health, safety and optimal use of environmental goods and services. For this reason, the company needs to identify opportunities for improvement in its Environmental Management System (EMS), in order to appeal to continuous improvement, with respect to the requirements of the NTC ISO 14001 standard, in addition to other environmental requirements. The purpose of the internship was, therefore, to support the process of continuous improvement of the Environmental Management System (EMS) of Schneider Electric de Colombia S.A.S., applying the knowledge acquired in the training as an Environmental Engineer at the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas, through an Initial Environmental Review (IER), Gap Analysis (GAP) and the development of an Action Plan for the improvement of the EMS.
