Resumen
In order to make a description of the protocols created for health personnel, developed in some of the countries affected by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, a search is made on the pages of government entities and some sources of information. Trusted administrative entities for each of the nations, for this a selection methodology is implemented, by means of which the protocols chosen are those that comply with the parameters determined such as their targeting towards health personnel, affordability of information, and that include universal precautions.
In addition to this, an analysis of each nation is carried out according to the highlighted protocols and important data such as the weaknesses and strengths that Colombia presents with respect to the protocols developed in comparison with the other countries mentioned here are highlighted (United States, Mexico, Spain, Italy, Salvador, China, Peru, Brazil). As a result of the methodology applied here, it was found that although all countries have at least one protocol for the prevention of contagion of personnel in this labor sector, very few delve into the subject and there is no subdivision of said protocols for each of the specialties, if not that on the contrary they handle everything in a general way, in addition to this it is found that most of these countries are facing a pandemic for the first time and their preparation was practically nil.
