Resumen
In the industry, dissimilar joints are very common and necessary, because in many occasions the properties of certain steels are needed to fulfill a function, a clear example is when using high-strength steel but it takes a small segment is stainless, then a dissimilar union has to be made in order to fulfill that purpose, however there are too many dissimilar unions in which there is no information on how its microstructure behaves and of heat treatments that can improve it, in such a way that this project seeks to do research between two steels, AISI / SAE 4140 and AISI / SAE 316L, of high resistance and austenitic stainless steel respectively. In this case, the microstructure of the dissimilar junction that will be subjected to different heat treatments will be analyzed.
