Resumen
In the development of the reading this document will find a comparison between the concentration levels of pollutants sulphur dioxide and nitrogen dioxides at two different stations in the center-east of Bogot´a, the selected study stations are the High Performance Center station (CAR) and the Aranda Bridge station (PTE). Based on the data recorded by the Bogot´a Air Quality Monitoring Network (RMCAB), we are prepared to carry out a descriptive statistical analysis that allows to compare the emission of these agents over a period of 4 years from 2019 to 2022. For this purpose, the effects caused by air pollution on human, plant and animal health, i.e. on ecosystems in general, should be presented historically. The central objective is to identify changes in concentration levels in the global context faced by the global health emergency of COVID-19. To do this, it is proposed to study and compare the amount of particles emitted from SO2 and N O2 in this period of time, recorded in the air of these zones. Analyzing the data recorded since January 2019, when production and mobility patterns exceed the limits of air quality and environmental alarms are issued based on the recommendations of the WHO (World Health Organization) and turning point for global quarantine until December 2022 transition period and return to normal capital.
