Resumen
Currently, people use the Web to consult tourism information related to accommodations, restaurants, tourist attractions, flights, among many other products and services of this industry. As this sector grows, an increasing number of people are facing challenges in finding relevant information. The vast amount of information on the Web is so poorly structured that it is not possible to find answers that are relevant, truthful and whose authenticity can be verified. This work presents a data linking model to collect, transform and publish tourism data under Linked Open Data (LOD) principles. This is achieved through a use case applied to museums in the city of Bogota, Colombia. After a review of the works related to Linked Open Data and tourism, the methodology used to build the model is presented. Finally, the consumption of the tourism LOD cloud is made through a Web viewer, in order to test and validate the proposal. From this validation, a series of recommendations, strengths and weaknesses were obtained, these are described in the conclusions section of this study.
