Resumen
In the present work the process of creation and implementation of the German leveling network was investigated, based on this information it is intended to create a guide to create a model of heights for Colombia; For Colombia, it is proposed to adopt a similar approach using these methods as a reference, this involves establishing GNSS/leveling reference points along leveling lines, carry out GNSS measurements with high quality criteria and harmonized specifications, perform absolute gravity measurements and determination of the local vertical gravity gradient. These data would be used to establish an integrated geodetic reference in Colombia, which would facilitate a wide range of applications, from cartography to civil engineering and land management. In addition, this project could serve as an international pilot to establish a new orientation of the official Colombian topographic system and lay the groundwork for the development of a uniform integrated geodetic spatial reference, similar to what has been achieved in Germany, this initiative aims to improve the accuracy and consistency of geospatial data in Colombia (MAGNA-SIRGAS), aligning it with international standards and supporting sustainable development and planning in the country.
