Resumen
Making the decision to study Professionalization for Long-Standing Artists confronts me with new challenges that have forced me to establish a place from where I can calmly face this new path. In this way, I set out to approach work and relationships for the construction of knowledge and for interdisciplinary creation through three words: acquire, share, and confront. The acquisition of knowledge can come from anywhere and anyone. The challenge of assuming the role of student in front of my peers gave me the opportunity to demand an open mind, willing to learn and to engage in dialogue. The dialogue among people who have accumulated knowledge allows for confrontation in the debate of ideas or in methodological ways of teaching dance technique or realizing artistic creation, thus enriching the practice in the art of dance. Consequently, having to create from the academy proposed a great challenge is no longer the simple and intuitive idea that produces creation, but also requires conceptual elaboration. This makes it necessary to incorporate research processes, as well as confrontation with people who have the duty to evaluate and assess my performance.
