This research is based on the application of new materials and technologies for construction of open channel , which has a coating called cellular confinement system ( GEOWEB ) ; This technology offers many advantages in terms of performance and construction considerably reduces environmental impact since the materials used are natural and preserved environment to intervene , maintaining a healthy ecosystem without affecting the flora and fauna , and replacing materials conventional coatings with specific channels

La presente investigación se fundamenta en la aplicación de nuevos materiales y tecnologías para la construcción de canales abiertos, el cual cuenta con un revestimiento llamado Sistema de Confinamiento Celular (GEOWEB); esta tecnología brinda muchas ventajas en cuanto a rendimientos de construcción y baja considerablemente el impacto ambiental ya que los materiales a utilizar son naturales y conservan el entorno a intervenir, manteniendo un ecosistema más sano sin afectar la flora y la fauna, ya que reemplaza los materiales convencionales con revestimientos de canales en concreto.
