Propuesta metodológica para la implementación de un mecanismo de desarrollo limpio en un relleno sanitario tipo I en Colombia

Abstract

This project formulates a methodological proposal for the implementation of a clean development mechanism in a landfill type I, that is to say, in landfill that dispose more than 791 tons per day of waste. The CDM comes from Kyoto protocol, oriented in the reduction of greenhouse gases, in landfills, allow the use of gases for the generation of biogas, which can be use as transport fuel, industrial fuel or for electric generation. Therefore, the proposal is according to a theorical compilation of concepts, of nternational and national experience, of the procedures of Ministerio de Ambiente y Desarrollo Sostenible, and the emission calculation methodologies of United Nations Framework Convention on climate change, additional, is implemented a case study with financial factors to determine the viability of the project in the market of emission reduction and electricity generation such a way that, the proposal provides terms of orientation for those who want to implement a CDM.
