Prototipo de sistema telemático de control de acceso con reconocimiento facial para la Facultad Tecnológica de la Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas

Abstract

The Francisco José de Caldas District University in its Technological Faculty is an educational institution which receives high demand from people, both students and teaching and administrative staff. The Faculty has daytime, nighttime and weekend hours, so it is important for the University to have control of the people who enter the institution. This control currently depends on the security personnel hired by the University and the identification system that It must be carried out compulsorily to have access to the facilities of the Technological Faculty and other faculties. Therefore, it is identified that, since the entry and exit of the institutional body to the Faculty depends on human perception, there is no precision in the identification of people and in some cases there is no interest in the people who have access actually entering. Therefore, the prototype of the planned telematic access control system with facial recognition will contribute to the problem of access control to this faculty.
